Six years ago, a group of young progressive professionals here in New Jersey saw a need to provide meaningful, hands-on leadership training for individuals who wanted to make a difference in their local community. Since that time, New Leaders Council - New Jersey has grown to be the premiere leadership training program in the state, with a broad reach to leaders in politics and government, business, nonprofit, and beyond.
In early 2016, we are developing two separate outreach events that we are asking you to sign on as a sponsor of: the 2nd Annual Advisory Board Winter Gathering and Reception held in January and the 2nd Annual Policy Summit held in February. NLC-NJ is providing joint sponsorship opportunities for these two events, to allow our generous supporters to broaden their reach and involvement with the NLC-NJ community.
Our 2nd Annual Winter Gathering and Reception, with the theme "New Year, New Leaders,” is hosted by the Advisory Board of NLC-NJ, led by our honorary co-chairs Assemblyman Troy Singleton and Patti McGuire. The reception will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2015 at Delta’s Restaurant in New Brunswick, NJ. More information about the event can be found at: nj.newleaderscouncil.org/wintergathering.
The 2nd Annual Policy Summit, entitled “Improving New Jersey’s Infrastructure” will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2015 at the Rutgers SAC Raritan River Lounge in New Brunswick, NJ. The event will provide in-depth discussion on one of the most important issues currently occurring in New Jersey: How we will fund and develop infrastructure for our next generation. We expect to cover issues such as the Transportation Trust Fund and Gateway Tunnel project, innovative ways to fund transportation projects throughout the state, and the new wave of technology in the energy sector. More information about the event can be found at: nj.newleaderscouncil.org/infrastructure_policy_summit.
Your sponsorship of these two events will assist the organization in our mission to foster the strong and focused New Jersey leaders that are needed to blaze the trail forward for the emerging generation. That is why we are offering you the opportunity to sponsor both of these events, at a package rate.
The sponsorship levels are as follows:
